I ordered grips and grip screws "Torx" type. It came fast - only two days! I live in Hawaii. The grips look real sharp. They fit my 226 perfectly. When you look at the back where the two halves meet the joint line fades away.It's hard to describe how the grips feel but their solid. They don't feel like sand paper. Their real grippy like soft rubber but they don't feel soft. I guess it's like grabbing a bastard or coarse file. Although they don't feel like they would cut your hand. They just feel like the 226 blends with your hand - like virtually impossible for you to drop the gun. Oh, and the "Torx" screws just compliment the sharp looking grips.
