Sig Sauer P229-1 E2 and M11-A1 10 RD 9mm Mec-Gar Magazine With The Blued Finish MGP22910B.

Most of the Sig Sauer P229 E2 9mm and Sig P229 made from late December 2010 now have a wider magwell which is the same as the Sig Sauer P229 .40/.357. For those pistols you need to use the Sig Sauer P229-1 magazine

The Sig Sauer P229 Classic Carry 9mm takes the narrower P228/P229 magazines. The P229-1 magazines are too wide for the magwell. 

If you have the earlier P228 or P229 9mm, Sig P229 Classic Carry or Sig P229 Legacy with the narrow magazine (came standard with a 13 round magazine) these magazines have too wide of a magazine tube, they won't fit. You need the original style P228/P229 magazines. Mec-Gar offers those in a flush fitting 15 round magazine or a 18 round magazine with a +3 adapter.
