Mec-Gar competition grade 1911 10 round 9mm magazine with the anti-friction coating finish. This magazine fits the full sized Colt 1911 9mm, Rock Island 1911 9mm and similar clones including the Llama Max-1 and Llama X1. The magazine does not fit the Springfield Armory 1911 EMP.

  • Anti-Friction coating allows for easy loading, reduced malfunctions, and superior anti-corrosion properties
  • Floor plate is designed to fit into competition boxes and slides on from the rear to prevent it from popping off when the magazine is dropped and fits funneled magazine wells
  • Dimples on the bottom of the floorplate can be colored in to differentiate magazines

Constructed from certified carbon steel and features a heat treated housing and high-impact polymer or certified carbon steel follower and floorplate. The magazine spring is made of high strength type "D" music wire-the strongest wire available. TIG welding provides additional strength and a seamless finish. Each magazine surface is specially treated to ensure high corrosion resistance.

Fits my BUL 1911 Government very well. I like the solid follower, no nose diving rounds. Very good mag.

The baseplate is complete, wrapping around the magazine. The black finish is smooth, and the follower is easier to use than standard 9mm 1911 followers. Unloading is a bit easier with this mag. Quality is apparent here.
