Witness - Tanfoglio Large Frame 10 RD .40 S&W Mec-Gar Magazine MGWIT40LF10B. These magazines are for the full sized large frame Witness - Tanfoglio. If your pistol has the numbers 1140 after the serial number you have the small framed pistol and this magazine will not fit. This magazine will not fit the Witness PS (Polymer Small Frame), the magazine is too wide. You need the Witness Small Frame  magazine for that pistol. Mec-Gar is now the OEM supplier of Tanfoglio magazines and these are Mec-Gar's aftermarket version of the factory magazines they make.

May not fit pistols with an extended magwell. The Witness Limited and Witness Gold Team models require an Aluminum Base Pad to be compatible in the magwell. 

These magazines won’t fit the Witness P Match without the Witness factory OEM base pad 102037.

This magazine doesn't fit the Witness PS (small frame polymer) or the small frame metal EAA Witness/Tanfoglio.

All calibers in 10mm, .38 Super & .45acp are considered to be large frames regardless of the year it was produced.

Witness Elite & Xtreme Gold Teams, Limited’s require an Aluminum Base Pad in addition to a magazine. 

 

Constructed from certified carbon steel and features a heat treated housing and high-impact polymer or certified carbon steel follower and floorplate. The magazine spring is made of high strength type "D" music wire-the strongest wire available. TIG welding provides additional strength and a seamless finish. Each magazine surface is specially treated to ensure high corrosion resistance.
