Hogue EXTREME grip hex head black 4 screws set for Beretta 92, 96 and Taurus PT92, 99, 100 and 101 (Taurus pistols must have frame bushings).  
 
--Taurus has changed the design of grip screws on full size pistols. Prior to approx. ‘97, pistols used 4 frame screw bushings using screws of Beretta design. Three of four bushings were omitted and now Taurus screws are machined to the size of the previous bushing and screw in one unit. The fourth (top left) screw bushing is still present and doubles its’ purpose as a spring retainer. Screw bushings must be purchased to allow use of Beretta design grip screws on current production (1997 to present) Taurus pistols. You can use a set of Taurus factory bushings or you can use the Hogue bushings that I sell 92069. 
Hogue grip screws have been redesigned and improved and are now Hogue Extreme grip screws. Hogue Extreme grip screws are made from Heat treated 416 Stainless Steel which is much tougher and resistant to damage than conventional screws. Most standard screws including our former quality screws twist off or strip out at a much lower torque than the new Extreme Screws. Make no mistake, the Extreme grip screws are the finest most durable grip screws available.

A small thing that you never think about.....grip screws. I am glad I made the decision to change out my factory Beretta grip screws to these. They look great but they feel so much more secure. These things should not strip at all. I had no fear of cranking down on these at all because I don’t use Loctite on grip screws. Do yourself a favor and buy these and change out the factory screws. I have these on two 92FS models.
