Sig SAUER P228, P229, or Tisas PX-9 GEN 3 Carry TS15 round flush fit 9mm Mec-Gar magazine with a blued finish MGP22815B.  THESE ARE NOT SIG SAUER P229-1 MAGAZINES. The SIG SAUER P229-1 MAGAZINES HAVE A WIDER MAGAZINE TUBE.

This magazine holds 2 more rounds than the standard factory magazine and still fits flush with the grip. Mec-Gar makes factory magazines for the Sig Sauer P228 and P229 9mm. You get the same quality magazine for a lot less money.  

This is also the correct magazine for the Sig Sauer P229 Classic Carry 9mm and Sig Sauer P229 Legacy.

Most of the Sig Sauer P229 E2 9mm, Sig Sauer M11-A1, and Sig P229 made from late December 2010 now have a wider magwell which is the same a the Sig Sauer P229 .40/.357.  For those pistols, you need to use a Sig Sauer P229-1 magazine. While these will lock into place they will have some play in the magwell that may cause reliability issues. These magazines are for the P228 or P229 9mm that have the narrower magwell.

The magazine spring is made of high strength type "D" music wire-the strongest wire available. TIG welding provides additional strength and a seamless finish. Each magazine surface is specially treated to ensure high corrosion resistance.
