Shipping & Returns

Orders are shipped as soon as possible, normally the same day or next business day, depending on what time your order is placed. A delivery confirmation number or tracking info will be emailed to you when your order is processed. 

We reserve the right to cancel a sale for reasons not limited to pricing errors, typos, shipping restrictions, inventory errors, and orders that don't have matching billing and shipping addresses. 

SHIPPING IS A FLAT RATE OF $8.95 WITH THE EXCLUSION OF EXCESSIVELY LARGE ORDERS, ESPECIALLY TO HAWAII AND ALASKA. YOU WILL BE CONTACTED IF AN EXTRA SHIPPING FEE IS REQUIRED.

  1. We reserve the right to limit the number of magazines purchased to a reasonable amount, especially for magazines in high demand. This is not normally a problem. If there is a problem with the order, you will be notified.

Occasionally, I have run into somebody who needed magazines or something for a competition shipped to them overnight. We can send items overnight by UPS or FedEx for an additional shipping fee. Please call in your order if you need special expedited shipping.

Once an item is delivered correctly to the customer's mailbox or address, it becomes the addressee's property. Greg Cote LLC and the Postal Service are no longer responsible for any loss that may occur after the delivery. If the package is not received, this would be considered a theft.  If stolen, you can contact their local police and report the theft. You can also report the mail theft to the Postal Inspection Service by phone at 1-877-876-2455 or on the web at this link: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/.  You may also want to mention the theft to your carrier or local Post Office so they may monitor for theft in the area. Most orders ship via USPS but the same applies to properly delivered orders shipped via UPS or FedEx. A replacement order or refund will be issued if a customer's order was not delivered to the correct address or was lost in transit. 

Most orders are delivered within a few days. However, it can take up to 30 days for the carriers to confirm that the orders cannot be located and delivered correctly. Please give ample time for the process to be completed. 

Greg Cote LLC has a 30-day return policy. If you find that the item shipped was defective within 30 days or if I made a mistake on your order, just let me know and I will give you info about how to return it and get the correct item shipped out. We pay the return shipping if the item is defective or shipped in error. If you are getting a replacement, we will pay for the shipping. All items have to be returned in new in the OEM package where applicable. 

If you ordered the wrong item or changed your mind, you can ship it back in the original factory packing, where applicable, in new condition.  Items that are returned in the same condition as they were shipped to you within 30 days will be issued a refund minus the shipping fee. Non-defective, inserted magazine, installed grip, opened (removed from OEM package), or used items are not returnable unless prior permission is provided and are subject to a restocking fee.  

All items are only shipped within the United States, with no international sales, or sales to U.S. territories. Magazines are only sold and shipped to locations where they are legal. Please know your laws. Please do not order anything illegal in your billing or shipping location. We can not ship items to you if they are not legal in your billing or shipping address.

Sorry, no sales or orders shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in a US Territory, FPO, DPO, or APO. Orders cannot be shipped to freight forwarders. All sales are only for use within the USA, the (Continental USA, and Hawaii).  

Please do not order anything illegal in your jurisdiction or if your credit card billing address is in a jurisdiction where they are illegal. We will not be able to ship it to you.

State Restrictions

California

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds may be shipped to billing or shipping addresses in California.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to California.
  • Automated Ordering System to place California AB 1263 compliant orders is in place.

Colorado

  • No magazines exceeding 15 rounds (5 rounds for shotguns) may be shipped to a billing or shipping address in Colorado.
  • Customers with a billing or shipping address in Boulder County or the City of Boulder are subject to a 10-round magazine limit.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to a billing or shipping address in Colorado.

Connecticut

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds may be shipped to a billing or shipping address in Connecticut.
  • Effective October 1, 2013, Connecticut residents must provide a copy of a valid pistol permit, ammunition eligibility certificate, or long-gun eligibility certificate matching the shipping address.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to a billing or shipping address in Connecticut.

Connecticut Ammunition & Magazine Requirements
Under Senate Bill 1160, Connecticut residents age 18 or older must possess an ammunition certificate to purchase ammunition or magazines, unless they already hold:

  • A valid Connecticut Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers, or
  • A valid Long Gun Eligibility Certificate.

The ammunition certificate authorizes only the purchase of ammunition and magazines, not firearms.

Delaware

  • No magazines exceeding 17 rounds may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Delaware.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Delaware.

Hawaii

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Hawaii.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Hawaii.

Illinois

  • No rifle magazines exceeding 10 rounds, shotgun magazines exceeding 5 rounds, or pistol magazines exceeding 15 rounds may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Illinois.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Illinois.

Cook County, Deerfield & Highland Park, Illinois

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds or shotgun magazines exceeding 5 rounds may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in those jurisdictions.

Maryland

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Maryland.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Maryland.

Massachusetts

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Massachusetts.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Massachusetts.

New Jersey

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds (6 rounds for shotguns) may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in New Jersey.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in New Jersey.

New York

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in New York.
  • No magazines may be shipped to New York City or to customers using a NYC billing or shipping address.
  • No rifle magazines exceeding 5 rounds may be shipped to customers with billing or shipping addresses in Rochester or Buffalo.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in New York.

Rhode Island

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Rhode Island.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Rhode Island.

Vermont

  • No rifle magazines exceeding 10 rounds or pistol magazines exceeding 15 rounds may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Vermont.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Vermont.

Washington, DC

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Washington, DC.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Washington, DC.

Washington State

  • No magazines exceeding 10 rounds (5 rounds for shotguns) may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Washington State.
  • No magazine extensions that increase capacity may be shipped to customers with a billing or shipping address in Washington State.

Some states have further restrictions on shotgun magazines. We do not ship the 9, 10, or 19-round shotgun magazines to customers with a billing or shipping address in the states listed below.

  • COLORADO (there is an eight-round limit on Shotgun magazines)
  • ILLINOIS (there is a five-round limit on Shotgun magazines)

We don't sell magazines as rebuild kits. Magazines cannot be shipped to NYC other than to an FFL.

Restrictions on the Purchase of Ammunition and Magazines for Connecticut:

Retailers and firearms owners throughout Connecticut will have to deal with new restrictions on the purchase of ammunition and magazines that took effect on 10/1/2013 as part of Senate Bill 1160.

The law requires individuals over the age of 18 to obtain an ammunition certificate to purchase ammunition and magazines.  If you already possess a valid state Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers or a newly created “long gun eligibility certificate,” you are exempt from this additional requirement to obtain a separate “ammunition and magazine certificate.”  The “ammunition certificate” only allows you to purchase ammunition and magazines, no firearms whatsoever.
