Do not over tighten the screws. Over tightening of grip screws can damage the grip and it may cause them to crack. - Grip screws should only be lightly hand torqued. Blue Loctite is suggested on the threads. Very little screw pressure should be applied to the grip panels. 

- Do not use stock star washers with Hogue grips. They will not fit.
- Grip screws should be torqued to 12 inch/lbs. Blue Loctite is suggested on the threads
