Para Ordnance P16 or Rock Island Armory 1911 A2 15-round .40 S&W magazine with a nickel finish, Mec-Gar MGP164015N. These magazines aren't compatible with the Para Ordnance Pro Custom 16.40 .40 S&W; they take a longer magazine.

DOES NOT work in the 10mm RIA 1911 A2 without modifying the magazine feed lips. THESE ONLY WORK WITH .40 S&W; they do not feed the 10mm ammo reliably.

These magazines do not have the extended polymer base that comes with the magazines used in the Rock Island Armory 1911 A2, which features an extended magwell. The magwell will interfere with the insertion of these magazines. The magazine requires the Armscor extended base pad, part number 54152.

The magazine spring is made of high-strength type "D" music wire, the strongest wire available. TIG welding provides additional strength and a seamless finish. Each magazine surface is specially treated to ensure high corrosion resistance.
