THE MAGAZINE DOES NOT FIT THE SARSILMAZ SAR 9.
MEC-GAR HAS DESIGNED A NEW FLOORPLATE TO REPLACE THE +2 CAPACITY ADAPTERS WE CURRENTLY USE ON SOME OF OUR MAGAZINES. THIS NEW DROP PROTECTION SYSTEM ADAPTER WILL HELP REDUCE THE SHOCK AND REDUCE FAILURES OF MAGAZINES WHEN THEY ARE DROPPED ON HARD SURFACES SUCH AS SELF DEFENSE USE OR COMPETITION USE. IT IS ONLY SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN THE CURRENT +2 CAPACITY ADAPTER.
THESE MAGAZINES ARE ALSO GREAT IN THE PRE 2005 BUL LTD. CHEROKEE, CANIK 55 L-120, CANIK SHARK-FC, TRISTAR P-120, L-120, S-120, T-120, EAA SAR K2P, SAR CM9 GEN 2, AND THE EAA SAR B6P PISTOLS. MANY HAVE ALSO USED THE MEC-GAR CZ 75B 17 ROUND MGCZ7517AFC MAGAZINES IN THE EAA SAR K2P 9MM AND THE EAA SAR B6P PISTOLS. HOWEVER, SOME SAY THE CZ 75B 17 ROUND MAGAZINES ARE A LITTLE HARDER TO LOCK INTO THE MAGWELL. THE POST 2005 PRODUCTION BUL CHEOROKEE (POLYMER FRAMED WITH THE RAIL) USES THE EAA WITNESS SMALL FRAME 17 ROUND 9MM MAGAZINES.
THEY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE IN THE CZ 75 PRE-B. THEY ALSO DO NOT WORK IN THE CZ CUSTOM SP-01 PISTOLS WITH THE EXTENDED MAGWELL. THE MAGAZINE TUBE IS TOO SHORT.
THE CZ 75 PRE-B MAGAZINES HAVE A SQUARE CUT NOTCH IN THE REAR OF THE MAGAZINE TUBE BEHIND THE FOLLOWER. THE CZ 75B MAGAZINES HAVE A MORE U SHAPED CUTOUT. CZ 75 PRE-B MAGAZINES WILL FIT AND FUNCTION FINE IN THE CZ 75B. THis CZ 75B MAGAZINE is A LITTLE too WIDE to FIT PROPERLY IN to THE CZ 75 PRE-B.

MIDDLETOWN, CONN. (11/07/19) – Mec-Gar ® USA is proud to announce they have
upgraded their 9mm 19 round CZ 75 magazine with their new Drop Protection
System (DPS) floorplate. The new floorplate design functions like their current +2 but
uses technological designs from the building industry to reduce and redistribute shock
when the magazine is dropped on a hard surface during competition or self-defense
use. This new technology greatly reduces the chance of damage to the floorplate, or it
coming off as it hits the hard surface. Each magazine has Mec-Gar’s proprietary anti-
friction coating, which makes loading, and unloading the magazine easier when shooting
which leads to less malfunctions.
According to Mec-Gar USA Vice-President David Kochol, “We are always working
towards improving our products. We do this by incorporating the latest in engineering
and technological advances so our customers get the best magazines possible.”
This magazine replaces Mec-Gar’s previous 19rd CZ75B 9mm Magazine with the
standard +2 floorplate in their product line.
