Rock Island 1911 A2 or Para Ordnance P16 15 round .40 S&W magazine with a blued finish MGP164015B. This is a .40 S&W magazine. This magazine DOES NOT feed the 10mm ammo without modification of the feedlips. The Armscor magazine made by ACT-MAG feeds either .40 S&W or 10mm ammo. If your pistol has a magwell/funnel the metal base plate on these magazines may prevent insertion. They DO NOT work with Dawson base pads and they WILL NOT fit single-stack 1911's. The magazines ARE NOT compatible with the PARA USA 16.40 .40 S&W PRO CUSTOM, they take a longer magazine. Customers have told me that the magazine 

DOES NOT work in the 10mm RIA 1911 A2 without modifying the magazine feed lips. THESE ONLY WORK WITH .40 S&W.

These magazines do not have the extended polymer base that comes on the magazines used in the Rock Island Armory 1911 A2 with the extended magwell. The magwell will interfere with the insertion of these magazines. The magazine needs the Armscor extended base pad,  Armscor part number 54152.

The magazine spring is made of high-strength type "D" music wire the strongest wire available. TIG welding provides additional strength and a seamless finish. Each magazine surface is specially treated to ensure high corrosion resistance.
